In First Grade students need to be able to:

*count, identify, and write numbers up to 100

*compare pairs of numbers up to 100 using the terms: is less than, is greater than, and is equal to

*identify the digits in a number up to 100 on the basis of their place value

*classify a number as odd or even up to 100

*use estimation to determine the number of objects in a set up to 100
